ESD, colon, splenic flexure, using HYBRIDknife^® fIex, I-type

An endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) of a LST-NG tumor at the splenic flexure is performed by Prof. A. Repici using the VIO^® 3 Gastroenterology Workstation with HYBRIDknife^® flex I-Type.
This monopolar knife is tailored for precise application in challenging thin-walled anatomy, especially colorectal lesions. The submucosa is prepared with a needle-free, high-pressure waterjet provided by the ERBEJET^® 2. The energy for electrosurgical cutting and coagulation is delivered by the VIO® 3 generator using the endoCUT^® I, preciseSECT and swiftCOAG^® modes. The ESD is temporarily performed underwater.
