Radical cystectomy and formation of a neobladder in female patients with BiClamp®


Selected working steps of an open radical cystectomy and formation of a neobladder in female patients are described. The BiClamp 271 T, BiClamp 280 and Bipolar Forceps PREMIUM driven by the Urology Workstation are used for the following steps:

1. Resection of the median umbilical Ligament
2. Extented pelvic lymphadenectomy
3. Exposure of the common iliac artery
4. Ovarectomy
5. Mobilization of bladder and uterus
6. Subtle and precise preparation of smaller structures
7. Transection of the mesoileum
