Thermal ablation of Barrett´s remainder at GEJ with HybridAPC

Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC) has been used for thermal ablation of Barrett’s esophagus for years.

The flexible HybridAPC probe from Erbe combines now APC with waterjet elevation
to create a submucosal protective layer.

HybridAPC enables high energy eradication of Barrett´s mucosa
with optimal protection of the proper muscle layer.
It may therefore lead to a lower rate of stricture formation during clinical application.

HybridAPC can be applied exactly on target, even at the gastro-esophageal junction (GEJ).
