Selected working steps of an open radical cystectomy and formation of a neobladder in female patients are described. The BiClamp 271 T, BiClamp 280 and Bipolar Forceps PREMIUM driven by the Urology Workstation are used … Continue reading Radical cystectomy and formation of a neobladder in female patients with BiClamp®
Vessel sealing and dissection with a single instrument during a laparoscopic cystectomy. BiCision® maximizes the thermofusion zone and minimizes the risk of thermal injury to sensitive structures in urologic surgery, such as ureter or nerves.
The new LAP BiSect Micro is ideally suited for precise bipolar dissection, e.g.for exposing the bladder neck during a laparoscopic prostatectomy procedure. The BiClamp LAP is used for the sealing of larger vessels.
The bladder tumor can be resected in one piece using the electrosurgery function of the HybridKnife instrument. By elevating the mucosa, the resection level is raised and the risk of perforation of the muscularis is … Continue reading En bloc resection of bladder tumors with HybridKnife
Bipolar TURP with the new VIO® 3 mode highCUT bipolar. This new mode has been optimized for bipolar resection in a saline solution. The power peak system (PPS) enables rapid incision. The stable plasma facilitates … Continue reading Bipolar TURP with VIO® 3
Bipolar TURBT with the new VIO® 3 mode highCUT bipolar. This new mode has been optimized for bipolar resection in a saline solution. The power peak system (PPS) enables rapid incision. The stable plasma facilitates … Continue reading Bipolar TURBT with VIO® 3
The selectivity of the waterjet reduces the risk of sexual dysfunction and/or urinary incontinence in prostatectomy procedures. Blood vessels and nerve cords remain largely intact during resection of the prostate. The preparation of the neurovascular … Continue reading Nerve sparing radical prostatectomy using ERBEJET® 2
A nerve-sparing laparoscopic prostatectomy with the ERBEJET 2 is shown here. The preparation of the neurovascular bundles between the parapelvic fascia and the prostatic capsule is carried out intermittently using both the waterjet itself and … Continue reading Prostatectomy, laparoscopic, with ERBEJET® 2
Combined waterjet dissection and electrocoagulation improves surgical performance of this procedure.
The high-pressure waterjet of the ERBEJET 2 is used for selective dissection of the kidney parenchyma. Where required, the exposed vessels are coagulated, sealed and separated using the BiClamp LAP forceps.
